๐Ÿ‘๏ธThe Inspector

This page explains the different features of the inspector.

When you select the prefab, this inspector will be shown.

There are five Tabs.

1. Ranks Tab

It contains a list of all saved ranks.

You can click on the apply button to view it.

You can expand each rank to quickly modify their look and edit their animations.

More fields will show up depending on your choice. They are hidden when not used to be more user-friendly.

Also, note that you can hover over all the fields to read tool tips about how they work.

2. Customize Tab

You can create or update ranks in this tab. If you are in play mode, you can also preview the animations.

The materials' foldout can be opened for quick shortcuts.

Customize Tab

Small tip: If the name you typed doesn't exist in the list of ranks, the tab will say Customize new rank. If it exists, it will switch to Update "rank name". This can be helpful to avoid typos.

3. Settings Tab

Base Animation can be modified here. These are the animations that are played on the root of the object.

You can also assign particles and enable/disable extra tabs here.

4. Reference Tab

This contains valuable references for the asset to function. Because it is not needed most of the time, it is hidden by default. You can turn it on in the settings tab.

5. Debug Tab

There isn't much here. You can see and verify different saved variables without using custom inspector drawers here. Because it is not needed most of the time, it is hidden by default. You can turn it on in the settings tab.

There are documentation icons(๐Ÿ“˜) beside different fields. You can click on them to quickly open up related documentation.
